Sparks Fly at Archangel-metalwork
I visited the chaps down at Arcangel Metalworks, to take a set of images portraying the working process. They are an amazingly creative metal design company. I loved taking in all the elements in the workshop and capturing some small details, finished artwork and action shots. The finished pieces are just gorgeous and so varied. The rustic setting and bits and bobs all around them gave me a thrill. The smell and sight of this kind of work is just a joy. The guys that work there, Paul, Davey and Darrell were happy to pose and have me clicking away as they worked. Have a look how realistic that giant hosta leaf looks, all welded and beaten with a hammer.
