South farm in Summer, sun streaming through the packed gardens, a family of ducklings on the pond. Guests all excited about sleeping in the gypsy caravans or camping on site...everyone smiling. Hayley was a beautiful bride, she beamed as she showed me her dress, her shoes, her flowers. She was thinking of other people all the time, getting her nana a slot with the make up artist and hair dresser too, I could tell she enjoyed making other people happy. She really had the day she dreamed of and getting stuck to enjoying it came easy. When I arrived on the morning of the wedding, she was with her mum, Dad, sister, sister's boyfriend and nan, all decorating the venue how she wanted. It made me smile that she asked me where I thought some extra decoration would look good. Each visit to South Farm I like to make each set of photos special to that couple. I look at these and really feel they sum up their day. A very small close family ceremony, followed by lots of mingling and an afternoon with everyone else arriving, then a great South Farm meal. It was so relaxed and I personally had the most time ever with the couple, which is a reflection you will see below in just how many photos of them there are here. A couple of guests were late arriving, so as the wedding party were all ready, this gave me extra time to take photos of Hayley, her lovely sister and bridesmaid Emma, and their Dad 'Papa Smurf' who was the proudest man on this day! The registrars were the lovliest, such great words, it was all very touching. Hayley and Brett loved their day, their vows, their meal, the speeches, their party. Just how a wedding should be. No rules, just do what you feel is right for you. And enjoy each moment. SO many times I heard Brett say how beautiful his wife looked. And she did. Congratulations to you two, you deserve such happiness, Im so glad to have been a part of this.
There was such a relaxed feel to the whole day, setting the idea here with this lovely sign made by a friend of Hayleys, just sit where your heart desires.
Hayley and Brett wanted no theme, just the pretty flowers and they collected (and drank) all these little biere blond bottles, which were lovingly cleaned by Brett and lace stuck around them. The little striped bags on each place setting held these sweeties.
Seeing Hayley's nan really 'getting the treatment' showed just what a lovely close family they all were. She loved it! Had her toes and fingernails done a modern tangy orange by Emma, Hayley's sister and also had make up and hair do!
The girls chose these gorgeous shoes to go with their outfits. I loved them both!
Brett's two best men were his brothers, Darren and Adam.
